Research
My research interests are in the intersection of extreme events, oceanography, and design requirements for offshore wind, especially in new regions such as the US Atlantic coast. I have presented work on metocean best practices for extreme value analysis in mixed-type climates, specifically for significant wave height representation in tropical and extra-tropical cyclonic regions. This work has been presented at:
- American Clean Power Resource & Technology, Austin, TX, Nov. 2023
- University of Massachusetts Wind Energy Fellows Seminar, April 2024
- Wind-Resource-Metocean Tropical Revolving Storms Meeting, May 2024
