Metocean Expert Americas specializes in supporting new industries with a lot to be excited about. Based on experience with large multi-national energy developers and ongoing research between industry and academia, MEA aims to build a common foundation for oceanographic best practices for operational and extreme conditions around new and emerging market in offshore design, installation, and operation.

Sarah McElman has managed metocean buoy, FLiDAR, and other measurement campaigns across the US and Europe, in addition to leading the metocean dimensions of new business, development, and operational preparedness. Prior to working in the industry, Sarah was a computational modeler and consultant in waves and fluid dynamics applications for clients in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
